Slight groan

Hi all, I can just hear a slight groan every 10 seconds or so when ticking over which I reckon is coming from the suspension compressor - it's coming from somewhere near the front off side wheel. It's difficult to diagnose as the engine noise makes it a bit difficult but its a definite (but very slight) half second groan every 10 seconds or so. Is this normal? Thanks all

Suspension compressor is in front of the near side rear wheel so opposite side of the vehicle from your noise. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

On the TDV8 on the right hand side of the engine (when sat in the driver's seat looking forwards) you have the generator (top) and the dynamic response pump (bottom). The dynamic response valve block is below the driver's door on the side of the chassis rail. There are pressure valves in the dynamic response system but I would have thought a fault would throw up an error on the dash.

Only other thing I can think of is the front valve block for the air suspension. That is fixed behind the bumper bar in front of the OSF wheel by the auxiliary radiator. Perhaps a faulty valve is leaking a puff of air? 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

Many thanks RRSTDV8. That's definitely the area so I reckon its the dynamic response valve puffing slightly. I guess yours isn't doing it as a comparison?

Can't say I've heard anything from the DR valve block but my TDV8 makes its own set of noises... Rolling with laughter Big Cry 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
