Hi Guys,

I have the two year warranty on my car and I remember that any work needed for an MOT, JLR will cover after the first £75 (Not including tyres etc)
Does anyone know if the MOT has to be done at a dealer only?

I'm sure its £750 not £75,,not sure wether it has to be done at LR or not,i had the same cover on my RRS1 & when it needed mot'ing I did it myself as I didn't want any advisories on sheet.Not that their was anything wrong with the car but I know what dealers can be like.

Think you may have misread opening post Andy, he said anything over £75 is covered which is correct and likewise yours is also correct as the LR 24 month Dealer warranty covers up to £750 on the MOT.

The Dealer has the right of which MOT station to use rather than the cars owner unfortunately, I tried to choose one of my own test centres, and dealer produced terms and conditions booklet which states they choose. Could also be because they only pay £36.00 for test and you have to pay full rate. John
