The press release mentions 19 new colors will be available! I hope some of these will trickle down to non-SVR RRS models. |

The current model does not need a face lift, but a but lift.

Doesn't seem any reason to change to the 2017 model. The infotainment centre has had nothing but problems on the Jaguar, and LR In Control Apps are some of the worst I've seen. If they got it all working and checked before launch, that would be an improvement. Not a new model or even a facelift for normal SDV6 users.

In the US the SCV6 is slightly faster than the TDV6 0-60 (think it's 6.9 versus 7.1 sec) although I imagine with the torque the TDV6 gets off the line quicker. 2016 SCV8 Dynamic - Firenze Red/Pimento |

Don't think you get the 306BHP, 500lb ft version of the V6 diesel that we do.

Good point. I think ours is turbocharged and not supercharged. It has less than 300 hp.

The V6 S/C will be being launched to answer the immenent hike in taxes on new diesel cars in the UK as a way of reducing emissions in towns. I would imagine that the V6 S/C will be also the answer to the DPF issues for those who rarely venture away from the school/ supermarket run in their RRS's. I must admit that I would be interested in a V6 S/C having driven the F Type Jag AWD with it. OK so the Jag is a lighter car and sleeker but even if you drive like a granny (which is very hard in the FType!) you are unlikely to see better than 20mpg in town and 25mpg on a long run so I dread to think what the heavier less aerodynamic RRS or FFRR will get with the same motor. It will be interesting to hear the howls of protest from Evoque owners too as they have long wanted a V6 petrol or diesel in that car but it physically will not fit in the engine bay. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

And the 6 introduced as a way to smooth the market acceptance of the 4 cylinder version in the near future? |

Disappointing to say the least. I was hoping they would do something new with the front and rear bumpers. Mostly the rear since it's the worst part of an otherwise great design. And some new wheel options. Maybe that's next year's model. Was ready to put my order in to replace my 2010. Not sure now. 2018 Range Rover Sport SVR – Bosphorus Grey |
