Mine is on the passenger side, tucked behind the rearview. Think all the sensors are on the drivers side. Certainly I haven't had any issues, and can't see it from the drivers seat. |

This is going to sound stupid but where do you wire it to and what route is taken?

At the moment I've got it plugged in cig lighter as the company I bought off didn't have hardwire in stock but they are sending me one when back in stock.I ran the wire behind headline & tucked behind trim on A pillar.

It's very simple: just push the wire between the headliner and the trim, then follow the door, the carpet, etc Will send you a link ... |

This should help and clear doubts re the wiring. In this video they hard wire the BV to the front fuse box ... But you will need to find the proper fuse that stays on when the engine is turned off ... With the battery pack, you don't need to worry about the fuse box, battery consumption etc eye ... The battery pack charges when driving, and allows you 12 hrs recording when the engine is turned off.

This other video shows how to hide the wiring. It is on a M4. On the RRS it is much simpler as you have a lot more room to move inside the from and the rear ... It took me 30 minutes to do the job properly.
