Rather worrying that so new a vehicle has lunched its rear diff. I guess the seal was damaged when it was put together in the factory. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

Well, all we really know is that there is a (admittedly slight) high speed driveline vibration and some leaking oil.

Why do people put up with DS loan cars? Am I the only one who refuses anything other than a RRS? |

I'm with you on this one , I always insiste on a rrs but usually something goes wrong at the last minute and I end up with a freelander. |

Would have made a fuss about getting a RRS as a loaner, but frankly I actually did want an extended test drive in a DS, so no problem for me.

Been told today that the diff will be replaced, because "the special tool needed to replace the input shaft tool is not available"? So LR escalated it to complete diff replacement.
