What time is needed to replace front CV boot?

During last car inspection (something like MOT) it was noticed that front left inner CV boot start to show sign of leaks. To avoid bigger problems I already appointed a car for repair.
I know that there are people here with great experience so I am wondering how much labour hours are needed to replace inner boot? This is just to be sure that local LR dealer will not try to calculate excessive charge for this job.

Just jumping in here, a friend of mine took his VW into the dealers after a breakdown, the crank sensor was less than £50, however they charged him 5 hours labour, he thought that wasn't right and found a how to guide on Youtube, it shows the same job being done is under 30 minutes, he is now looking to sue them for fraud 07,TDV8,Black, Black Heated leather all round, Rear Entertainment with Headpones & Remote, TV, DVD, Pure Dab Digital Radio, Sidesteps, Adaptive Headlights, sunroof, now working fuel burning heater Smile)))

There is a Service hours manual supplied by most/all manufacturers, which lists all jobs and how long it should take to complete. If a video on U-tube says it takes an hour, you can generally nearly double that. Embarassed
Most reputable dealers (LR) will give a price before hand, the hours allowed for jobs are generous to the dealer, (as shown above) and if they take longer they take the hit, but generally they can get two identical jobs done in the allowed time frame, so they shouldn't loose out.
It's the labor rate you have to wartch, at my Brother & Partners Garage in London, they charge £145 Per hour + VAT for servicing, plus genuine parts only at SRP, car of course, is returned cleaned inside and out as well, and that is quite a cheap rate evidently around there. Always booked up a couple of months in advance, so no shortage of money around. Smile
It's mainly Bentleys sales and service/top of range Mercs and some other well known performance sports cars. I couldn't afford to use him. Sad Wink John

Well, job done, charged for 1.4 hrs and got 15% discount for complete job (parts included). Very Happy
Local LR dealer was fair with prices so far, no complaints.
