Calais Booze Trip - tips and advice

So taking my RRS across the tunnel for the first time for a day trip to stock up on wine and champagne for my wedding this weekend. Anyone done this journey before and have and tips and advice, in particular;

Good places to eat in Calais and around that way (ideally somewhere we can park outside given we'll be stocked up with a boot full of Tattinger);

Estimates on what the boot will take in terms of booze, we will have four passengers so will just be using the boot space.

Anyone used the sat nav in France - is it fully loaded for France or is it the main road only coverage?

We have got the tickets for oversized cars on the eurotunnel to give us more space - anything else we need to think about?

blue helmet, bullit proof jacket, tape UN on the doors should see you through without any issue Rolling with laughter

sat nav should work ok in france, just need to tell it to search in france under the country

don't overload the car though, can send the air suspension crazy with fault codes

This place is quaint and very French: https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Restaurant_R...alais.html

I've been a couple of times. Get a 2005-2009 RRS (FAH500210) sat nav/dash mat here - the one that wasn't there when you bought the car.

Spiffing wheel centre caps available
