Air suspension.

Evening all,
Apologies, first time on this site, so I imagine this question has been asked before.
The air suspension light comes on about a minute after starting the engine, hence no up/down. However it will go up/down when I first put the key in the ignition(b4 the light pings on) Any ideas??
Also, I changed the dummy side grill, passenger side, and discovered a little plastic bag with what appeared to be sponge??
Again, any ideas?
Thanks in advance

Is the light orange or red ?

When you first start the car, the air compressor will start up, refilling the air reservoir. If it detects a problem with the compressor, it'll throw up a warning after a minute or two.
Usually this is because it's got a bit hot, or not increasing the pressure properly, so probably means that it just needs some love (ie repairing or replacing).
To repair it, all it needs is the seals replacing, which is an easy DIY job, details can be found in one of the sticky's on this site Thumbs Up

Cool, thanks for the reply.
The light is orange, but the manual states, see a LR specialist for further info.
I'll check out the compressor seals. Thumbs Up

Don't forget that there are two different types of compressor fitted to the Sport. Check which one you have.

cheers
