DSLR tip/advice

I looking to get a digital SLR camera soon. I have a Sony W100 at i just got but want something that i can get that better shots with!


Now that there's a few of you pros on here what do you guy's recommend! Very Happy RRS TDV6 Gone but still around

There is a cost (both in terms of effort and $$) associated with switching to DSLRs. Don't want to dis-encourage you, but there is a bit of a learning curve with DSLRs, your pics will look horrible when you first switch. But once you get the hang of it, you will see a noticeable improvement. At least that was my (and many others) experience.

Very true. In that case what I said is irrelevant, kindly ignore. The only difference will be the crop factor, and that's no a big deal (in a way).

My wife complains that our photo collection is all about scenery art and cars. Glad she hasnt found the photos I took before we met?
