Fixed.Almost no response on throttle when cold RRS 2.7 2006.

Almost no response on throttle when cold RRS 2.7 2006,.. HELP!
Hi, my RRS Sport 2.7 2006 Diesel is "dead" when cold, almost impossible to drive,
almost no response when I press the pedal...
When i get abit boost it is a little bit better.
Gradually better response when the engine gets hotter, and when normal temp it run like normal...
No warninglight in dashboard.

What can i do to fix this?

I do understand ... then I just order a kit and get EGR removed.

Do you have a link to where I can read about the job and assemble this kit

Take a look here: http://www.disco3.co.uk/gallery/albums/use...0SMALL.pdf Wink

Some kits, like the one in the guide, have four plates and the pipes are removed, others use just two and the pipes are left in place - either will do the job. Thumbs Up Visiting from DISCO3.CO.UK

That's a good point actually - not sure on your testing etc. over there but I think you may do.

If that is indeed the case, you can get emulators from BAS that will allow the valves to be seen to be working to disgnostics, or, should you decide to replace the valve(s), you could still blank them (keeping the pipes in place) and it would not be an issue as long as the valves are working.

Today when we started the car the battery waring light was there for a minute before it disappeared.
No response on throttle for a minute.
After 1 miniute everything works fine again,...

Could this have any connection ?

Ps: Have ordered a blanking kit for the EGR
Exciting too see if thats is all it takes

Can't see that the battery light would be related, but do check the voltages. Thumbs Up Visiting from DISCO3.CO.UK
