Has anyone had any dealings with Urban Automotive (Milton Keynes), I'm thinking of using them for an upgrade >

They seem almost too reasonable (£3900.00+VAT) for the above. The likes of Revere/Overfinch are ridiculously more expensive, doesn't add up! Or are they top notch and not shafting you like the others?! Any help would be appreciated.

They appear to be top notch, I follow them on Instagram and Twitter and they certainly seem legit, I am lusting after one of their bodykits as we speak. They do good work and I think have a good reputation in LR Defender circles as well. 2014.5 Mariana Black 5.0 Supercharged V8 Autobiography

Interesting, just cannot fathom how they can be so reasonable compared to others! Last week Revere said their body kits START at £20K!

MAybe go and see them and check it out, their twitter feed shows them doing business with some large companies.

Maybe they just want to buck the trend of RRS drivers being ripped off lol. 2014.5 Mariana Black 5.0 Supercharged V8 Autobiography

You're right, a visit is needed. For a similar looking upgrade at Revere you are looking at about 5 times the money!

My other option (which was the initial idea) was to just get the Revere exhaust system (which is pretty reasonable; £538+vat, fitting incl) and just get that back section painted, looks heaps better & would have nice 4" diameter shiny tail pipes. Decisions, decisions! When you look into the f***ing body kits you do get tempted. Maybe I need to get the car first & weigh things up properly Neutral

Plus factor in paint and prep costs for the kit, insurance ramifications and all the rest. 2014.5 Mariana Black 5.0 Supercharged V8 Autobiography

Their (Urbans) price does include the painting. Would the body kit affect the insurance? Or do you mean because of the extra value it will be adding onto the vehicle?

Well, any change to the car, be it cosmetic or performance is classed as a modification and has to be declared to your insurers, if you dont, then in the event of an accident they may refuse to pay out.

You will also have to tell them abour your exhaust (should you buy one).
