Hi Guys

I have got MY2010 TDV8 Sport and I have just bought a set of front brembo 6 pot calipers off a new shape sport as an upgrade, can anybody tell me what size discs I need to buy and also can I use the existing brake pad wear indicator or are they different for the brembo calipers?

Also are the caliper mounting bolts the same for the brembo caliper and standard calipers, I know from experience that brembo calipers for the Subaru are different bolts than the standard calipers

Just trying to get everything sorted so l can fit them

PN for discs is LR016176. Pretty sure bolts are the same. Wear sensor is different - LR019401.  Visiting from DISCO3.CO.UK

Discs are 380mm Dia. I think the Calliper Mtg. bolts are the same but the wear sensor is different.

Brake disc Part Number could be LR027106 Microcat say's refer to Tech Bulletin LTB00317/LTB00326 before ordering.
I think it depends on VIN number.

Would appear those TSB's refer to issues you may have with vibration under braking so I guess in your case they do not apply.

Caliper bolts are the same

Discs are 380mm

Back plates are different. OR they can be removed altogether

Wear sensor is different, but can be re-used

Flexi pipes can be re-used

You will need a minimum of 20" wheels to clear the calipers


Just put them onto my Disco 3. They are incredible

Disco Mikey, do you know what size disc is already on the MY2010 TDV8? As the existing back plate is approx 20mm bigger than the existing disc so was hoping I could still use them? If not have you got a part number for the back plates I would need?

4 pot Brembos are 360mm

Backplates may well be the same on the 2010 RRS..

Looking at the Parts List for the 2010 on RRS they appear to be the same LR013665 and LR013666 however suggest you check with dealer just to confirm.

Check on Flea-Bay someone selling a pair of New Genuine Discs for £99.00 + p&p sounds like a good price.

Cheers for that Col yeah I had already spotted them discs on eBay and I've sent him a message just to confirm they are the 380mm diameter discs

As a back up I've also found these on eBay

I have Delhi discs on mine, and they cost me a whole lot more than that. Make sure that is the price for a pair, or individually...
