Hi!!! Help needed

Hi guys got my 1st rrs a couple of months ago a 2009 stormer edt 2.7 my question is I'm
Needing a tow bar as we are buying a caravan, do all rrs have the hole to fit a detachable tow bar? Do I just need to buy the actual bar? There's a panel on my rear bumper is that where the electrics are? Thanks in advance for any help ! Cheers Olly

You should find two plastic screws on the rear panel which need a coin to give a half twist to release. You should with luck have the hole ready for detachable tow bar and the electrics already fitted. Fingers crossed.

The receiver is part of the rear crossmember it's standard on all D3's and RRS's all you need is the detachable tow bar unless your going to fit the permanent type. The cover comes off as explained by nigel52. You might be lucky and find its had electrics fitted by a previous owner, if not you can get the wiring kits from a dealer. I think they need to be activated as well but I'm sure there are better informed people on here to put you right about that.. 2008 G4 RRSport TDV8 current

It's not essential to have them enabled*; they'll work just fine. Thumbs Up

@ Ollyhall

Look under the floor in the boot, ..

If You are in luck, there might even be a detachable
towbar there..
