Firstly unless there is an issue you do not need to replace disks when replacing pads - I am on my second set of pads on original disks.

I know don't have to replace discs when replace pads but when replace discs should replace the pads aswell is what ive always known?!

New front disks are 30mm, they have a wear limit of 27mm. You need to measure the 'working' part of the disk with a gauge. If they have a thick lip around the edge and are heading towards the 27mm thickness, then get them replaced. Additionally, if they are excessively corroded, it will be blocking all of the cooling fins, so will be starting to become less efficient, so may well be worthwhile changing.

Yeah they do have a lip on them,and look to me to rather rusty around edges too so I'll get them changed
