Hi all , just had a ab 64 plate for the long weekend , gave it a proper drive to Cornwall with the family . WOW , really impressed , the dynamic mode was all I hoped for and more . Great feel , firm but not rock hard , responses and power. The spec was lower than the car we have ordered but we still enjoyed it , just to get a feel of the panoramic roof with the dark interior , sat nav is easy to understand and use , like the head up display but not sure it's worth the extra . The auto side steps are a pain in my opinion , they just seem to be in the way . Soft close doors are a must .
Over all we love it and can't wait for our one to be built .

Our test drive was 20 minutes! My wife wanted one so the test drive was a formality to make sure it wasn't a complete load of rubbish. No chance.

Dave 20 minutes is shocking, we had an afternoon driving defenders , sports and vogues to see what suited us best , then a demo sport with stealth pack for the weekend when we placed the order and while we are waiting for the new car if we need anything we just have to ask .
Really great service but we have used them for about 20 years .

1st time JLR buyer! VW, Volvo and BMW until now.

Waiting for a call tomorrow to see when I will get one, have changed spec a few times and my good lady wants ebony/ebony interior so trying to get a MY16 car if we can.

Good luck Dave and mrs Dave , hope you get what you want , I was happy to wait and get the ebony / ebony . Looks like ours will be ready for September now , the only problem with waiting is I keep adding more and more options .

Ours has gone up by nearly 10k due to our adding since we first signed!

That's uncanny same here, a second test drive was an absolute imposition, so glad I cancelled my order and bought it elsewhere!

Guys at listers hereford were much more pleasant and accommodating than the shower at Barnet. On order expected October 16 macan turbo

Dave , 10 k , I bet they keep you waiting a bit longer to squeeze a bit more from your wallet . The wife took the demo back today , good news , landrover will honour the price rise and do the new model at the old price , happy days , due for delivery in early September .
I will make an appointment to go in , sit down and finalize the spec .
I think I would need more than 20 minutes to decide wether I liked the sales man/woman never mind the car .

Had a 20 min drive , booked half day in autobiography to test out adaptive cruise so happy days
However dealer were so bad with follow up I cancelled car twice and got deposit refunded
Then got a 64 plate autobiography with tons of kit for 3k more than new hse with a bit extra kit, thanks to dealer!!

Thanks Fletcher. The salesman seemed very pleasant and we spent the whole afternoon with him in the end. I research a great deal and think we got what we wanted. Then I spent more time on here and spent even more!

Hoping for September now for MY16 car.

Great news Dave , glad your happy , I'm going in at some point over the weekend to finalize my build , then I'm going to lock myself away until it arrives , this week I'm also adding head up display and mood lighting , I can't find the wifi package on the new configurator , hoping its free and standard .

In Control wifi and apps are now standard on the AB. I think they are hoping the apps will get better once lots of owners have them hence making them standard. They put the price up to more than cover adding them though!

Stay away from the build bit of the LR website, expensive place!
