Change the 2005 lights amber panel to white?

I've seen some examples of people swapping the amber to white using foil - has anyone a tip on doing this or a guide?

Hi, yes I done this when I fitted leds to my lights, I used a fluorescent light diffuser from electrical wholesalers, cut it to the same shape as the orange reflector, cut a strong piece of card to go in the back and covered it with tin foil, this gives the back of the reflector a more silver effect.

So smart mate, thats the job - Perfect install too. How happy are you with the lights? Any chance of a close up next time your at the car?
