my heated screen works but takes forever to defrost,a freinds transit screen defrosts in a min or two ,is this common and are they just crap or could this be sorted  tdv8

With my BAS remote heater it takes about 60 seconds

Without it, it'll take about 5 minutes or more to defrost! I'm not Fat. RRS TDV6 HST.

Less than a minute with or without remote heating. Current: Volvo XC90 T8 Inscription Pro PHEV with some optionals on top

Around 45 seconds for me in my 2014 Sport. Arrived: MY16 A/B SDV6 in Aruba, Ivory interior, piano black trim, black panoramic roof, spare wheel, blind spot monitoring, mudlaps and more...

It depends how cold/icy it is, of course, but generally a minute or so. With the BAS FBH controller it's a few tens of seconds. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

it would appear that im a pleb.... i pressed the prog button today just above the windscreen button ...and the ice pretty much instantly dissapeared  tdv8
