yes or no opinions chrome side bars

can't make my mind up on wether or not i like these what are peoples opinions on these chrome side bars

the nifty selling point Laughing is that when parking in tight spaces the bars would get dinked rather than your door and paintwork

yes i do agree one part of me likes the fact it does make the car look a tad lower but the other half of me agrees it is rather chavy, i need to address why the access mode isn't working (car just raises back up) and once thats sorted when its parked at least it won't look sky high with huge gaps in the wheel arches Very Happy

If it rises back up when trying to put it in access modes it could be one of your height sensors, does this happen all the time or when parked at a certain angle? RRS SUPERCHARGED, 22 INCH ALLOYS, JAVA BLACK, FULLY COLOUR CODED

They look chavvy and won't have any effect at all on people opening their doors in to yours in car parks. Indeed, some might do it just to have a go at "the idiot chav" in the next bay! 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

does it all the time just goes straight into extended height mode (off road) having not bought it long ago i got 3 years warranty with the car, time to see how they are at paying up, is this something a diagnostics machine will be able to determine do you know ?

You should get in touch with Bodsy on this forum, hes the man for diagnostics Thumbs Up

I would check on your 4 x 4 screen to see if any of the corner sensors are flashing red which would indicate you may have a ride height sensor at fault, try checking on all access, normal and off road mode. RRS SUPERCHARGED, 22 INCH ALLOYS, JAVA BLACK, FULLY COLOUR CODED
