Is a design issue with the windscreen pillar - there is a service action on this. Do a search and to start you off see my post in this thread

Had water ingress in passenger footwell and in my case it turned out to be loose fitting plenum chamber cover (the black plastic bit in front of the windscreen).

I have exactly the same issue. Very hesitant to take it to the dealer as they will charge me an arm and a leg to diagnose it!!! I've looked at the sunroof and they are draining perfectly. I've also replaced the clips on the a frame as per the TSB. Can't work out what is causing the leak in the passenger footwell. Im worried it may cause more damage if I leave it any longer. |

There is no point just replacing the clips - you have to put sealant anound them as well to seal the holes particularly the bottom oval hole that does not have s clip just a stabiliser moulding into the outer pillar moulding. 07MY RRS TDV6

While retrofitting Adaptive Cruise I found the source of water ingress in the Driver side footwell. The Connection between the door and the Body has a large rubber cable duct. This does not fit water tight. I have since popped all of the and applied Black RTV and reinstalled them and have since had a dry floor. |

Had it MOT'd at the local dealership last week. I asked them to have a quick look at the sunroof drain outlets whilst it was up on the ramps.

Hi, i recently had the same problem with water ingress into the passenger side footwell and it turned out to be the passenger sunroof drain,so after a long investigation i found that when i poured water quickly down the passenger sunroof drain channel the water ran out out behind the vent where it should,(the force of the water pushing it through) but if i poured it down slowly (like rain water would be) most of the water was coming back into the car under the carpet as there was a crack in the sunroof drain pipe behind the fuse box where the pipe goes through the bodywork, got a new passenger side drain tube fitted and it has been dry ever since, hope this might help |

Found a large chip in the windscreen this weekend, just above the drivers side wiper. That might explain the drivers side of the heated front screen not working. It's a bit of a deep crater.
