Mmmmm.... I use different fuel stations and have never had a problem with either sport!

I had the same problem in my L200 pickup, turned out the filler hose had a kink, they replaced it and I could then use the HGV fillers! Saves loads of time |

PS never ever use tesco, sainsburys, Asdas or morrissons diesel, they put the max amount of biodiesel allowed in their fuel, and that's what killed the rail in my L200, a 1500 quid replcement |

Your misfueling device has definately been activated by someone trying to put pertol in to the tank. Look in your workshop manual to see how to reset it. |

What an idiot I am. Just been to GS and the mis-fuelling device had indeed been triggered. In my naivity I had assumed that the idea was to prevent you filling up with petrol but apparently it just slows you down so you realise something is wrong. It's now been reset and I am assuming that my problem is solved.

It should be in the boot of your vehicle with all the tools for changing a wheel. Its will be a yellow plastic thingy. |

I don't think earlier aussies RRS have it - my 07MY doesn't have it so I can quite happily fill with petrol in a seniors moment. 07MY RRS TDV6 Arctic Frost Aspen Interior |

The mis-fueling device is INSIDE the filler tube, looks like teeth hanging down.

Still very annoying (funny really!) that the dealer said that's how it's supposed to be!

Of course it begs the question of who triggered it by trying to fill with petrol?
