Range Rover sport 2008 - pulls to the left

My range rover sport 2008 has been pulling to the left for some time now.
I'm pretty sure it's getting worse.

It's not a "camber" issue as one useless garage tried to tell me -
Still pulls to the left from the outside lane on a motorway!

Some other possible symptoms (not sure if related)

- Feels very slightly harder to turn steering wheel to the right, than it does to the left (could be in my head!)
- Slight wheel wobble at around 70-80 mph
- “Clunk" noise when hard lock to the right (usually over uneven ground / speed bump)
- Whistle like noise when turning left... like the noise you hear in multi-story car parks sometimes!

I'm getting it tracked and balanced by LR this week, but was just wondering if anyone had any ideas of what else it could be, as it's driving me insane

Sounds like the wheels are out of their specified range for offset and balancing sounds squiffy too.

See what LR do, but, personally, I would be inclined to take it to the professionals and get a 4 wheel alignment and balancing done (need a full tank of fuel - or equivalent weight and car in tight tolerance mode).
Should cost you no more that £60 odd.

Find your nearest place with a Hunter Hawk Eye system www.alignmycar.co.uk Thumbs Up

Let us know what LR come back with. Smile ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

Hunters Land Rover are doing the tracking, balance, 4 wheel alignment...
Hopefully they know what they're doing!?

Didn't know about the full tank of fuel, will (begrudgingly) fill it up before i take it! Thanks

When I took delivery of mine back in 2012, it came with a significant 'pull' to the right. Turned out to be too much 'toe out' on the R/N/S wheel causing the from to drift right, more noticible at increased speed. Was like night and day when it was correct.

Hopefully LR will sort it for you Thumbs Up ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

I had my friend who works at hunters look over it, and he took it in to do the tracking / wheel balancing -
All was way out!
Sorted that and the left pull is <almost> gone -
Still there a bit, but he said the majority of them (especially with aftermarket 22" alloys) do - it's very slight though, and could be down to camber of the road!

If you are still running on the tyres you were before alignment then it will pull slightly as wear will be off, new tyres and I'm sure it will go if alignment is spot on. Mine pulled left just before tyres were illegal. After fresh tyres it would drive straight. 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀
TDV8 Sport HSE...... Gone. Loved it but it didn't love me!!
Now rolling in MY10 Fullfat TDV8 Vogue. Slammed it to go round corners🙈
Cruising daily #56 mph in a Volvo V8. 😱
Lots of other toys in the cupboard...😜

United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Zermatt Silver

I found my MY14 pulled to the left when I first bought it, it was fitted with 22"wheels at that time. Swapping to 20" wheels has removed that tendency except on roads with very severe camber. MY2010 TDV8 purchased Jan 2017
MY14 HSE Dynamic 3.0 SDV6 sold Sept 2015
MY 2010 TDV8 sold April 2014
MY 2007 V6 HSE sold July 2013

I had the same thing, turned out to be a knackered wheel hub!
