One last thing before I shut up (at least for now). Topix says the tyre spec on this vehicle is 255/50 R19 A/T but the dealer fitted 255/55 R19 (as seen from the pictures we took when we viewed the car. Basically different tyre profile. Does this matter? Do I ask them to change to manufacturer's spec as I am aware of insurance implication?

And yes, it will be 2 RRS in the garage if we do this deal. But a lady wants what a lady wants and I don't want world war 5 by saying no. That way I can enjoy mine to the fullest as I do a lot of business related driving every week.

I would check to see if its a recognised - accepted configuration - the original buyer may have asked for that set up for whatever reason - if its not recognised you have a valid argument - if it is recognised - then i dont know what argument you would have ( if that makes sense )  16MY Estoril Blue SVR.............

Dealer came back confirming that current tyre spec was put in place by previous owner and hence must be acceptable. Do I need to do anything further on this or do you think the insurance company can still use this as an avenue for not paying?

" Previous owner did it so it must be acceptable" Their taking the If theres an insurance issue that's not going to work. Needs to be sorted first.  MY 09TDV8

I guess I can hold them to account if the unthinkable happens and make them pay.
