I have a Valentine 1. It's brilliant for mobile cameras and laser guns. Expensive here at 350 quid but has paid for itself now. Gone - 2008 Stornoway Grey RRS 2.7 TDV6

It doesn't look that hard a job to do yorky22. This guy gives a nice step by step with images on how he installed his detector...looks quite straight forward. Thumbs Up

Yorky, when you contact Road Angel, they'll generally do you a deal on the subscription, I got mince through to Jan16 for £70 I believe, basically 18months for the price of 12. Cool

Be interested in seeing your hard wire install. Was thinking about it in my BM, but not too sure I'll have it for much longer Wink ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

In case anyone ever thinks about bringing a radar detector to Dubai...don't! They are illegal. The consequence is having the vehicle confiscated and a hefty fine.

FYI there are more speed cameras in the UAE than any other country in the world....they are a huge money earner here! Ra-Ro Sport Super Dooper Charged.

On the main highways of Dubai there's a camera every 3-4 km now. The newer ones are even catching people for tail gating & following too closely.
There's talk of a camera here that will be able to catch the guys who weave in and out of the traffic lanes, undertaking on the hard shoulder and also nabbing the guys who use the emergency lanes.

The problem we face though is the only punishment is a fine...the extremely wealthy local Emiratie guys don't care about the money...they just want to drive as fast as possible. No matter how many fines you receive your insurance etc will not be penalized. Ra-Ro Sport Super Dooper Charged.
