no power f.....k

Hi can anyone help.i have a rr sport 2.7tdv6.went into start it this morning just to move it a couple of feet.to do some work on the front discs,started no problem applied the hand brake got out the car then deciced to move it again.turned the key fired up then cut out.it was in N at the time.at the time I was starting the jeep through the open drivers window. so deciced to get into the jeep and start it up.started no problem.
but I only have limited rpm up to 3000.message came up.SUSPENTION LOWERING,HDC FAULT TRANSMITTION FAULT LTD GEARS AVALABLE,When these messages go away PARK BREAK FAULT comes up.the park break works ok as I tested it.
icons that came up are triangle with half moon arrow.anti stability car with two small arrows.and warning brake pads

help.

A couple of possibilites spring to mind with this one. Its possible you battery is low on power, or you have a brake light bulb that has blown. I once had the same fault pop up on my dash after a long drive, switched it off, then restarted it and the faults cleared and never returned. Bow down Hope it is something as simple for you. have restarted it a few times same thing.have checked the brake lights everything ok.

would the break light fault restrict the RPM ??? or battery.i am pritty good at trying to hold my head but this car has f......k my head will never buy another land rover.

You need to have the fault codes read, to see why all the lights are coming on

Otherwise, its all just guesswork...

Try starting the RRS and not the Jeep. It might fix the problem. Gone - 2008 Stornoway Grey RRS 2.7 TDV6

As Disco says, get the fault codes checked out. Also check the brake light switch behind the brake pedal, common failure.

Might just be worth trying a hard reset - e.g. disconnect battery for at least 30 seconds.

Although the rpm limit potentially sounds more serious

We'll jumped back into my rr two hours later
Black magic started and went as if nothing had happend
Very strange.
Noticed that the possative lead on the battery was slack
Mabe this had somthing to do with it
