Maybe stating the obvious, but have you removed the top turbo hoses, and checked them for splits? |

Yes checked all the induction pipes & also ran the engine with the top hoses off & they were blowing at a reasonable force even when putting my hand over each... I have compared it with another TDV8 & it's not running as smooth on idle & the pickup when you rev isn't as sharp... Thought maybe EGR related though would the computer not come up with a fault on that if it were to do with that? |

Yes I was thinking of dropping the downpipes & taking it for a spin see if it made any difference... Quite low milage for that to be a problem I would have thought but maybe it spent it's life doing short trips & never getting blasted out.. Will give it a go though thanks... |

All symptoms of a boost leak. Did you physically check the hoses all over, inc under the mesh bits? Wouldnt be the first time a garage has called me out to look at a car as they have missed it And split hoses are a fairly common issue, whereas blocked cats are not... |

Had the car go into limeted performance twice yesterday on my way home so plugged it in to laptop as I have the same setup as Land Rover with Torpix & got the same fault P023D-22 but it gave me the option of doing a Manifold absolute pressure MAP sensor test that I did... It came back with the sensor bank 1 falioure or wiring harness fault or the engine ecu is faulty & as I have changed the sensor & checked the wiring back to the ecu I'm wondering if it could be the ecu... I downloaded the latest software onto the engine ecu though that hasn't made any difference... The ecu is over a grand though so not something I want to change unless certain! I do have another TDV8 so could maybe swap the ecu though not sure that will work as it has to be programmed with vin num etc!? |

Highly unlikely to be an ECU. I would double check all of the turbo hoses, intercooler for leaks, and the actuators for free movement
