United Kingdom 2005 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Java Black
New member with rrsc doing few little mods

Hey everyone, been reading on this forum for the last few weeks and recently joined. Well ive sold my bmw e93 convertible and brought rrsc 55 black plate with overfinch style bumpers and wheels. I can afford to run and service this vehicle but its an expensive purchase for me so im really excited and glad to own it. Ive noticed this site isnt as into modifications as some of the other car forums but i personally love a few little mods. The car is having led headlights fitted saturday (led'ed converted into old style headlight) and ive just ordered a gvif and tv tuner to wire into my sat nav, reason for this is its a nice extra for passenger and also ill get dab radio stations when on my own.

Been trying to find a pictured install of the tv receiver but only found info on the gvif, im planning to install the receiver next to the gvif under the seat if there is space and ive read about where people run the ariels but unsure as to exactly what they meant. I would like to have the ariels more towards the rear of the vehicle.

Anyway im in colchester, i dont have an iidtool but i do have a simple OBD reader so if anyone has a problem and is local they are moer than welcome to use it.

Small world, I've just gone from an E93 to a 55 plate supercharged!

Very different cars but I'm happy with the switch.

what e93 did you have? i had the 320i so the slowest of the bunch so have gone from a slow m sport convertible to a fast 4x4 which to be honest just dont sound right Smile also the susppension is so different i had run flats, very low profile tyres and m sport suspension so ride couldn of been any rougher if i tried. id like to put some new exhaust tips on my car too as the rear overfinch bumper is made for dual exit exhausts either side.

I had a 325i msport, it wasn't quick but it had the 3 litre straight 6 engine so sounded lovely, especially with the performance exhaust on. I had the 19 inch wheels with run flats too so I know exactly what you mean about the suspension.

Did you have idrive in your car? I had the professional cic one in mine, it's far superior to the nav in the rrs but I'm only using it at the weekend so I'm not too bothered.

I'm too new to the rrs world so I can't advise on exhaust tips but Im s

I didnt have the idrive in my car instead I had a bmw professional sat nav, which is basically a bmw branded garmin in a bmw dock. Worked very well and although ibwould of preferred I was happy with what I had.

Some time next week im installing the gvif and tv tuner into my car but struggling to find info on how or where to install the tv unit and especially the aerials. exhaust tips will be last job I do so got time to search around
