Personally mate I would assume as long as the paint is the same type as is nothing fancy the polish would work the same way. As all your doing is removing paint imperfections to get the shine back. As the colour of the car is under the clear coat I cant see any way a polish would be able to distinguish any difference in colour. If that helps at all. |

Correct that polishing is just correcting the clear coat on top of the paint
