RR experience day

Hi
Sorry not sure if this is the best forum or not to post so please feel free to move.
I've been lucky enough to have been purchased a half day experience sesh for my birthday (today Whistle Very Happy ) and I get to chose the vehicle id like to take out.

Currently drive a Sport so do people think its worth taking out this car to further familiarise myself or should I try something else??
Options include ; Defender, Sport, FF or Disco 4.

Obviously its down to preference but if you had the option which would you chose?
The course looks fairly hilly with lots of wading potential.

Just after opinions really...

Cheers

Happy Birthday :-)

When I owned a Disco 3 I drove a RRS on an experience day as I thought the next purchase might be a Sport...it was...then drove a Disco 4 on another experience day just to see what they were like...would love to try a FF ....I felt the days were as much about which instructor you are given...maybe drive what you think you might purchase next...or just wishful thinking Smile Which ever you choose ....enjoy Thumbs Up

Currently thinking disco 4 or FF.
Can't help but think FF would be rubbish off-road in comparison to disco?

You will be amazed!

If you are anything like me you will be amazed at how brilliant all the vehicles are off-road ...even the Evoques! The courses look impossible but are 'constructed' to keep the vehicles within their capabilities....so we were informed. We followed a FF round the course in the Sport and believe me it was utterly capable. Takes a bit getting used to grinding a nearly new, expensive vehicle around the course even if it's not your own!

On the same tyres, I'd bet the new FFRR would make the D4 look like it was struggling... 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

The new RRS is incredible off road. Will go places (on road tyres) that a Defender won't, even on A/T or M/T tyres

I have been to LRE Dunkeld a few times, once in a Freelander, and once in a D4. They were both excellent off road, but on the RRS launch event, we went round in the RRS. Simply astounding, IMHO Bow down
