United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Zermatt Silver
Optional Packs Explanations - 07 HSE

Hi All
Having sold my last RRS and regretting it I am frantically trying to replace it. Sifting through the advertisements I keep seeing climate pack etc I would like some clarification on some of the packs listed as to what they full mean. Can anyone help so that I don't have the wool pulled over my eyes please at point of purchase. My last RRS was an 'S' and fairly basis in respect of gizmo's. Explanations to the following would be really helpful.

Clear View Pack
Cold Climate Pack
Memory Pack
Hi Ice Pack

Many thanks, I look forward to a positive response

The TDV8 got the active cruise control (as did the S/C). Other than that, HSE and TDV8 were pretty similar I think. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Hi Ice Pack

Clear View Pack: I think that's headlight washers and front fog lights
Cold Climate Pack: Heated front windscreen, heated washer jets, heated front seats, I think
Memory Pack: 3 memory slots for driver's seat positions and door mirrors
Hi Ice Pack: The standard Harman Kardon 8 speaker system with single in-dash CD and a sub woofer. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

United Kingdom 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Java Black

Clear View Pack: front foglights and headlamp washers

Cold Climate Pack: heated front and rear screens

Memory Pack: recall of seat, mirrors and steering wheel (if electric specified) reach positions

Hi Ice Pack: upgraded audio package

The TDV8 has all of these as standard plus a fridge. The adaptive cruise control is fun to play with but can clap the anchors on when you are not expecting it.

The TDV8 does not have a sunroof as standard.

Edit: sorry - RRSTDV8 has beaten me to it 2008 MY Java Black TDV8 HSE

I'm a great fan (perhaps the only one? Shocked ) of the adaptive cruise control. I find it makes long motorway runs very easy, especially if one is in heavy-ish traffic. It can be a bit harsh on the brakes when a BMW or Audi driver does their usual "I see you're leaving a safe gap to the car ahead so I'll jump in to it without indicating" routine. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

The first HSE V8's came with most options, mine had active lights, active cruise, heated rear seats and arm rest fridge as standard. Extras I ordered were Logic 7 which was required for rear entertainment, rear screens with multiplay DVD in boot, tow pack and sunroof, adding some 6800 quid to the car. Think they threw in side steps and flaps. 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀
TDV8 Sport HSE...... Gone. Loved it but it didn't love me!!
Now rolling in MY10 Fullfat TDV8 Vogue. Slammed it to go round corners🙈
Cruising daily #56 mph in a Volvo V8. 😱
Lots of other toys in the cupboard...😜

I have a 2006 RRS TDV6 with rear entertainment DVD factory fitted option, would this mean that the Logic 7 came in standard or preconfigured?
I don't see the Logic option when I go into Audio settings, but I have a front centre speaker. Other than that got 6 CD changer so I guess its at least premium audio.

In my 2006, I had to order and pay for premium ice to go with the DVD. In the 2007 V8, I had DVD player but premium ice was standard.
Not sure about the rest of the packages, as all my cars have had heated screens, xenon lights with washers, heated jets and fog lights. Think it fair to say I have never seen any model of Sport without these and have had two SE and an HSE. 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀
