Just noticed in my service book that in 2010 the car missed a service, but had only done 12k until the next one was carried out in early 2011. All main dealer.
It has had a service every year since.
Does this matter?, as was never mentioned to me at last service in June 2013. Current Volvo XC90 R Design T8

Did they just forget to fill in your service record?

Ring a dealer and ask, they should have all the service history on their database  MY2007 RRS TDV8 Black - tinted glass - side steps- stormer grille - 20" diamond cut alloys - alpaca leather - TV/DVD pack - some blingy chrome bits & bob's

It seems incredible but I can assure you Land Rover don't have a universal database for servicing records. They do keep central records of recall work but that's it.

So your only hope is to identify the individual service centre that did the work.

Worse still whilst some dealers will happily look up their records for you with a smile others just tell you that they 'get hundreds of requests like this' and refuse to help you (nice).

Just recently Land Rover have announced they are finally catching up with all the other manufacturers about twenty years too late and are introducing a universal database but of course this will not be retrospective so only new vehicles will benefit.
