WiKi on the Disco forum - well worth a look.

Thought it worth a mention, lots of helpful info on the Disco 3/4 Forum, also worth a look at the WiKi page

I have been wondering if we might benefit from something similar on here. Much of the info is interchangeable, of course, but there is also a fair bit that is unique to the RRS.

Certainly, I think a FAQ of RRS ownership is a must - we get so many repeat questions that a "go to" list must be a good idea. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

^^^ Agreed, there does seem to be a lot of 'I'm looking to buy, what to look for', or my boot/door doesn't open, what could be the problem' type questions of late which could be dealt with in one place.

Sadly a lot of people seem to have an aversion to the very good search function on here. Sad ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

Yes, that thread has lots of good stuff in it but it doesn't have a lot of the usual "how do I wipe my arse?" stuff that we get so regularly on here.

The worry is that, even if a good basic RRS guide is produced, people will still just dive in on their first post asking the same questions. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

If people did not ask questions on here, the site would be much slower, and no one else would benefit from the answers !!
If you need any tips on how to wipe your arse please feel free to pm me and my lad will gladly give you some pointers.

Oh, I see. People being too lazy to use the search facility to check for previous questions/answers are actually doing us all a favour. Answering the same questions over and over is what this forum is really for. Thanks for letting me know. Silly me. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
