NO NO And No. You have to do a good bit of work to the engine. If your worried about mpg get the tractor juice one. Well that my opinion so no offence. Thumbs Up

I've run my 4.4 on LPG for the last 50k miles, no issues.

I wouldn't bother with the s/c though, JE Engineering are your place if you still want to give it a go. You'll either need a flashlube kit installing as part of the conversion, or the JE way and have the cylinder heads done. Ex-G4 Challenge RRS HSE, BV55 YZE. Subtle shade of orange ! Now registered YZE481 G4RRS in Melbourne.

From what I understand - the 4.2 suffers from valve seat recession and this is a common fault whether it runs on petrol or gas.

it may accelerate the process on LPG - but if you have to get the valve seats hardened in the long run - whats the harm in having LPG.

DC_Supercharged .. For good advice, talk to JE Engineering in Coventry In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Frightened away from the Sports due to crank failures
Gone - A couple of RRS, A couple of Disco's. However thinking of another Sport.

No. If worried about saving money on fuel buy a non sc model.
