Air suspension dryer

Hi I have done a search and not found much.

I have a suspension issue and I had a look at the compressor it looks to be an air leak issue from the dryer and it seems to be leaking from round the brass inserts for the pilot air pipe and the pressure outlet the pipes seem to fit snug but the air is escaping from what I can feel from round the edges

Are you able to replace the front plate of the dryer as it looks to be held on by Torx bolts or is a new dryer and are there any good suppliers ?

Thanks

A new dryer is about £75
You could find another dryer and change it over might as well recharge the silica or put some Fresh beads in there whilst its off. Bodsys Brake Bible

why don't you try and cut off some of the pipe and remake the ends off and see if that fixes it, there should be enough spare length for you to try it.

Hi thanks for the replies I have found a new dryer didn't realise they were as cheap.

One last question I am going to freshen up the ends of the pipes when I fit the new dryer should the pipes have little brass inserts in them or is it a case of just making sure there square ends

Thanks for the help

Some do some don't as long as the pipe is round and not mishapen it does not matter you could cut the ends at an angle, its the roundness of the pipes that makes the seal with an O'ring seal.

thanks that brill I will give it a try with the new part once rcvd.

one more thing to remove it is it just remove the bolt that holds it to the compressor then pull it off and can you leave the compressor on the car? or like everything on this car it looks simple but you need to remove everything ha ha
