Hi guys,
I think I have messed up a setting on the unlocking from the inside function.
Up until a few weeks ago I could open the door whilst stopped by pulling once on the door handle, now I have to pull twice, once to unlock then again to open the door.
I could only find something in the manual about two stage unlocking from the outside, which I tried, but it is not that ( and is a right royal pain, as everyone tries to pull the passenger handles off when they hear the doors click)
Any thoughts?

Sounds like it could be the drive away locking function has been turned on, locks all the doors when the vehicle drives away and reaches a certain speed, like 5 or 10 mph.

Can be tuned on or off with the steering wheel settings .

If that is what's happened, Mine is set the same, and its much safer with it on as no one can open any door from the outside when stopped at a junction ect.

Can't think what else would cause it, but if there is a technical reason like a failing door lock ect, I'm sure someone will be along soon with another explanation  08 RRS TDV8 stornoway grey.

Not sure if the facelift shares the same double lock function of the older car?

If so, pressing the lock/unlock keys together for 2 seconds toggles the old model... worth trying? RRS gone

mine has always had the drive away locking function set to on, i tried switching it off, and yes it only takes one tug at the door handle but i like having the drive away function on.

i tried pressing the lock/unlock buttons, but ended up with the two stage unlocking....
