Sat nav/Radio playing me up

I can see many ppl have had this issue but is there an actual fix?

From time to time more frequent now the nav screen freezes on the spasm logo no sound or anything from radio.

Have done the normal process replace battery etc but still appears!!!

If I take out the fuse and put it back in problem is solved temporarily but starts again.

Stereo , av screen, Bluetooth phone mod, battery replaced, checked rear quarter for condensation, checked under foot wells for water but prob still there.

The dealers are also puzzled by this and have no idea???

Jeez. Feel for you on this fault which can see from your other posts it has been going on for a while. Does your car have the sat nav DVD player/computer box under the passenger's seat and did the dealership replace it in one of their many attempts to solve your problem? If not - is it possible this box, which seems to be a bit computerish, is crashing and not switching itself off? Was wondering what would happen if you disconnected the power plug from it (assuming there is one) and then reconnected it. If it had the same effect as your fuse removal and replacement would that implicate the sat nav box? Probably rubbish suggestion - but at least shows we have sympathy Rolling with laughter 2008 MY Java Black TDV8 HSE
