Just a quick hello

Hi all.
Well last few years has been a mixed bag of cars for me.

2009 (59) UG focus RS mkII, Then 2011-2012 the beast a 2009 (59) Nissan GTR black edition and end a 2012 a Jaguar Xf 2010 ( Don't know why i bought that car ) Nice car just felt about 70 in it.

Now i'm looking for something different and really like the look of a RRS. Don't want to spend over 40k as its just a second car for me. Seen a black (which is the only colour i want ) 2008 (58 ) TDV8 HST at £29000 with 24k on the clock 1 owner. Do you think this is a ok price from a dealer with 12 months warranty. I don't have to buy from the dealer as i can buy out right but like the peace of mind you get from an approved dealer.

Also apart from the looks of the HST is it really worth paying that bit extra for one or would you just stick with a HSE model.

Anyway thats me saying Hello and picking your brains.

Cheers Gary.

Just a quick update. Just spoken to the dealer and he's just got the car in and its ever thing he said. Full LR service history but with 4 stamps last done September 2011 so it ready for one.

Now i know its low milage at 24k, But would it worry you that its been 16 since its last service ?.

I forgot to ask him what the milage was at the last service. Which i will do tomorrow.

Update. Well the HST turned out to have 50,000 miles on the clock so that was a no no.

So a few days later me and the wife went looking around sheffield at a few dealers. Went to one dealer and he had to a 2007 and 2010 and after seeing the 2010 next to the old shape i could not bring myself to buy a old shape.

So we looked at the 2010 and the next day went to look at another one at Land Rover dealers in Chesterfield. Test drove a white 59 plate TDV8 which drove nice but looked a bit dull Confused .

Next to it was a 2012 black autobiography and to say it was love at first sight was an understatement !.

So had a test drive and that was that a deposit was left Very Happy .

Picked the car up friday and love it Very Happy , But to say i started looking to spend around 20K on a car and ended up spending 56k is mad.

I will look to get some photos up when i clean it as i've had it on the fields today and got a bit of mud on it Razz .

Cheers mate. GTR is a fantastic car and i found that it would leave everything behind at the lights apart from the big power bikes and its still give them a run for their money, But found they cost a small fortune to maintain. Still glad i've own one. If its power for yours bucks you want you can't get better than a GTR.
