After reading all about EGR's i would rather get rid of them, also a mechanic friend on mine said removing is the best option as it will run better and get better mpg if its only running on fresh air, he does my mot so eml isn't a problem if its lit |

IIRC, the valves are around £140 each, plus a few quid for gaskets. Give your mate a few beer tokens to replace them |
