Hi,

We recived an email today from the supplying dealer of the vehicle instructing us to take the car in for an immediate fix to the air suspension. We've run the car for almost 3 years (70k+)with no issues from the suspension apart from a couple of times the car tells us it's not level which sorts it'self after a while.

Can anyone confirm what this recall involves, I also found it strange that it was done via email, as 99% of the time this should has been done via a letter.

I usually get a telephone call if mine is requiring any T/B's. Bobby is usually the one that gets all the recall notices, i'm sure he will pick up on this post and add his input.

Is a shame they don't do a suspension recall on every sport they've ever built

D4 Air suspension compressor TSB

Just seen a TSB on the system TSB Q213v2

it relates to D4 & RRS vehilces 2009 - 2011 which had a failure of the air suspension compressor and then subsequently had a replacement Hitachi compressor fitted as a warranty repair to have these now replaced with an AMK compressor

so basically if you have a D4, your compressor failed and you have had an Hitachi replaced, this will now be replaced with an AMK version

NOT ALL VEHICLES ARE AFFECTED

if you fall into the criteria above contact your dealer with your chassis number and ask them to check the DDW system where if yours is affected they can arrange to have you booked in
This is a small fraction as only 3200 affected worldwide but best get it checked

So seeing as we've not had the compressor changed we should not need anything done?
