Help - advice:) please do not buy a replica 12MY Autobiography spoiler for 2005 - 9 MY from Powerful Uk - they are I paid for painting and a rear brake light to be added before fitting - during fitting I had to enlarge the rear wiper hose hole with a file to make it fit correctly. The best bit was yet to come after complaining Simon ( the voice from their videos ) stated he also had to enlarge the hole as well but edited it from the fitting video.Once fitted the spoiler clearly does not align with the roof & you can see where the 3 bolts that form part of the fixing system pull the spoiler through to the tailgate frame causing a sunken look on the surface of the spoiler in 3 areas. I'm no expert but the spoiler looked fine until after the painting / fitting process. I was offered £50 -and some glue - yes another problem - where the top part meets the plastic underside of the spoiler it's coming away. Their response - we have identified certain minor problems & I'm the first to have purchased - fitted the offending part. Keep the spoiler and we will give you a full refund - what about my additional costs. Do I have the legal rights to claim my additional costs? Pictures are available on request. If Powerful Uk read this grow a pair & phone me !

Ive found them pretty good to deal with to be fair. They offered you a refund on the part, i can't see any business going any further than that.

Your right - started of very amicable but I won't keep the part on my RRS it does look awful close up. They issued a refund as soon as they realised 'I was unhappy' - their words not mine. I have purchased resistors for LED light upgrade & steering wheel removal tool both did the job. Am sure your p***ed off but you pays your money etc. am sure it is considerably cheaper than genuine article so a full refund and offer to keep the thing I would have thought, is plenty! You would have paid for paint anyway and most would have tried the spoiler on the car before painting it so take the money and call it quits. If they didn't give you a refund I could understand the moan-in, but from what you say you got a bargain!  2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀

£120 for paint - £50 for the rear brake light. I have only been reimbursed the money I originally paid for the spoiler. As for trying - fitting the part before painting - why fit it twice - the part was fine until fitting - the bolts are tightened from underneath which cause the outer skin to pull down causing ripples on the spoilers painted surface.
To be honest I should have known better to buy aftermarket products - it's the first & last time I do it. I work at Jaguar and a few colleagues have suggested an easier way of fitting the newer - OEM spoiler. At least I get to reuse the brake light - if any body wants the after I've removed it please feel free to make me an offer  16MY Estoril Blue SVR.............

i notice they still have it advertised for sale, which is pretty poor. Given that they now know it sub standard.
