Hi, John I had this problem on my 08 MY 2.7 HSE.But it only happened when i floored the peddle. It was fine if i didn't actually floor it. Then i drove a brand new RRS on a Landrover Experience Day. I tried the same thing on it,and it did the same .Did not respond straight away. I mentioned it to the instructor, he said it was Turbo Lag. I do not floor my peddle anymore. And do not have the trouble anymore. Just a little lighter on the thrott ![]() |

I think people need to remember that the ecu has a shed load of things to sort in the nano second you apply WOT compared to applying the throttle steadily (as you'd usually do)

Many of the sports car marques get round it by having a "button" to press (Race for Ferrari, M sport for BMW, s# in Subaru etc etc)
