Is it too early

to set time climate to come on in the morning...it was 1,0 3 degrees the last few days so i thought i would have it on for the morning...but i feel like there is still plenty of time to enjoy the cold! ignoring mechanical sympathy etc Mike

Excuse me for being simple but what is time climate? Is it an option on the newer vehicles? How long does it take to warm up?

It's a same engine type thingy under the bonnet as std on all cars (I believe), all you need to do is unlock the software or give LR £1300 when you buy the car the unlock it.
Have a look at one of my earlier threads on it, would post link but on iPhone.
Just wish it would turn on the heated seats to.

Are you telling me that my local dealer will charge about £1300 just to plug in a laptop and press a few keys and then will work......

I'm in the wrong job if this is the case. Twisted Evil It is what it is and I am what I am....

That's the case yes (well and you get a remote for that too).
My car was I for work and I asked the dealer to do the system amendment. They told me they weren't allowed to as its frowned upon by JLR Rolling Eyes ......meaning they are basically revenue protecting Whistle ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

Incidentally, I don't think it's fitted to petrol cars as standard meaning it's the complete system Mike

Australia 2010 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Java Black

Worked great last week when leaving work and it was 35 degrees, cooled the car down a treat before we got underway to the boat for an evening cruise. It was warm on Saturday too, had to have a dip in the pool. Cool today though, only 25, needed a jacket this morning.
