Sticky EGR valves most likely. Get dealer or specialist to plug in diagnostic laptop. The error logs will show what the fault is for certain.Sounds like your dealer is shirking from the problem for some reason. 2013 Discovery HSE Luxury - 3.0 SDV6 - Santorini Black

Selling seems a bit radical! Surely worth a second opinion. The lag you refer to is definitely NOT normal, your car is still under LR warranty so take it to another dealer. If they say it's normal then ask to take out another V6 for a test. You could also contact LR customer service dept. one of them is actually on this forum, you could pass the details to him. 2013 Discovery HSE Luxury - 3.0 SDV6 - Santorini Black

Didnt we talk about a problem on here relating to an acceleration lag and it turned out to be the throttle position sensor (or similar name)

Hmmm, I've heard ok things about their service dept, but did have a similar issue a few (eight) years back when I had my FL1, they didn't seem that interested in getting to the bottom of the problem.

I have had this problem - had software update a year ago and brake switch sensor replaced twice this year then recalibrated before it appears to be cured
