Reading through this forum is starting to cost me some serious money.

When our car comes back from Denmark at the weekend, I figured that it was time to take it to a detailers. I have chosen Auto Finesse in Hertfordshire as they had some great feedback and their work is second to none.

It's going in for thorough clean and detail to banish those swirls etc and in prep for getting it back I have bought some snow foam together with a gun as well as some other 'special bits' to help keep it in the post detail condition.

Just logged onto their website and they have a pic of it on their twitter blog. All they have done is wash it and start to tape it up but it looks very shiney already........or is that me just being biased!

I will get some pictures up but its better than i thought. Car looks amazing, the depth of shine without swirls and nasty little marks is unbelievable.
Whereas before in the sunshine, it was a little dull when viewed up close with the swirls and little scratches disguising the true fleck of the paint, now, the sparkled fleck of Santorini Black is absolutely stunning.

It shall go to the ball after all.

Anyone thinking of getting their car detailed, my advice is do it, you wont regret it. Only trouble now is that i have bought all the bits to keep it in this condition and i now know that i'm on that slippery slope.

James is a top man and nothing is too much trouble, in fact he's now got our 12 week old BMW Convertible and if that turns out anything like the RRS then i will be a very happy person.

Just spent 3 hours cleaning mine......seriously thinking about getting mine done by a pro, especially now the weathers a bit better.

Jeep 4.0 High Output XJ 94 6" teraflex lift, c/w rear coils, 9500lb winch, 35" TSL super swamper boggers, safari snorkel, custom made bumpers, tom woods custom double cardon driveshaft, twin electric fans. Don't follow it..............you wont make it. The first 4 x 4 by far.

Went for tough coat as its easier to keep nice as its an every day car and not a weekend toy.
