Err, the 520d conv doesn't exist , do you mean the 320d or a 635d

Had a 520d E60 model in the past, brilliant car, can't comment on the others, but they both look very nice on the road. Personally I'd be drawn to the A5 conv, having owned an A4 Cab.  ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

My neighbour has an A5 3.0 conv, sounds like a tank still. Also, the husband finds it really uncomfortable to drive in terms of the pedal placement, but the wife loves it (the car )

My mistake the BMW I'm referring to is 520d m sport. Is the A5 auto? I'm thinking of selling the rrs and I guess down grading! or have I lost the plot! RRS

520d Msport is a lovely car, some would say a 'little' under powered, but I never really had any issues, 0-60 in 8.5 seconds is more than acceptable for me, especially with a family in the car IMHO.

I guess a lot will depend on what you are looking for new, nearly new, 2 years old etc. Any more info?

The new F10 BMW 20 looks superb, is that the model you're looking at ?

Although the E350 looks a nice car, not sure I'd buy one, Merc just don't do it for me.
I terms of build, the Audi will be the best from my experience, very solid cars. I like the lines of the A5 in both Saloon, sportback and Convert guise. ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

Cheers it was the 2011/12 BMW 520d m sport I was looking at, however nothing can replace my rrs hse I think it ticks all the boxes. RRS

if its an e350 merc, I've always had a soft sport for them, look great although a bit plasticy in my opinion when compare to the A5.

but what do i know i have a RRS
