My dear old RRS has now almost reached 100k miles, I have had him serviced at main dealers from new.

I am now wondering what are the most likely and costly items that may start to fail at this mileage and if there are any specific preventative steps I should take myself to present any of the above.

Any suggestions very welcome

Hi Michael,

I'm no expert but to help your cost base I'd find a reputable independent that charges less on labour.

Have you considered a Warranty Direct too? I'm not connected to them but was recommended to look and then bought, peace of mind even though it provides only about half the cost for wear and tear items at 100K.

Other than that I will be interested to hear of your experiences as mine has done about that too.
