Best thing you can do to a TDV8 Thumbs Up

If I drive as I did before there is no reduction in mpg.

However the noise when you plant the right foot means I don't see the same mpg anymore Rolling with laughter

Really good feedback on here if you search about forum sponsors BAS and Alive tunning and I think someone on here recently got a remap at AMD with good results too.

For me the biggest gain is in the 40-70 accelration time. It just keeps pulling Bow down

Oh and did I mention the sound Cool Laughing TDV8 now with extra grin factor thanks to Alive Tunning: Gone but not forgotten

slightly more turbo whine but that might be due to my K & N Air filter...

Otherwise totally the same (noise wise)

Go wise they are like chalk and cheese, much less throttle needed to really bowl along Thumbs Up RRS gone

you should seriously consider doing the decat at the same time as the remap- replace the cats with free-flow mufflers. It really makes the most amazing improvement to the turbo-lag.

Agreed but from 2012 onwards the MOT requires all cars built with CATs to have them fitted to pass the MOT. I chose to keep my CAT but replace everything back from that and fit two bullet boxes at the rear/ Impressive results in terms of performance and sound plus no problem come the MOT TDV8 HSE, Remap (+45 BHP + 100 Nm), Taylored sport exhaust system by Pipe Werx

agreed, but in Africa we have no such thing as an MOT.

Wish we did cos it would keep the scary old bangers off the road

get rid of that CAT then Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

be careful though the noise may be too loud if on longer journeys but depends on what you want. I wanted a balance between performance and sound and leaving the CAT in A1.

your neighbors must love you Smile

Sounds great, but I bet in real life it is better. The mic on the video camera and the PC speakers can't reproduce the deep tones.

I took a few vids of ours, but to be honest, they were crap. My nephew has a professional camera, will ask him to do a vid for us.

Your camera-person is a cutey Smile I like the commentary Rolling with laughter she must think we are all weirdo's
