Wales 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black
HDC Fault

Hi - I used my car this morning with no problems or faults. Parked it and when restarting it, it turned over very slowly. Turned it off and locked it to see if anything would reset. Started again and still turned over very slow. Fault on screen showed HDC fault. Decided to drive it home as it was not far. Faults showing on screen - HDC fault - Parking brake fault - All special programs off - Satnav went off - Leaning to side when cornering - No power steering - Indicators stopped working - Window very slow when raising.
Got the car home and locked it - Now it wont open electronically from the key.
Could this just be a battery problem.
I have not got warranty on the car - Car is an 07 model.
Any advice - Thanks Mark

Update - Put battery on charge and took it to be checked at Halfords - Battery good. Put battery back on and error reading No special programs on. Took car to local garage and as i drove in - All the previous faults showed again.
Battery was very warm - Cooking.
Alternator fault.
New battery fitted as the old one would now not take a charge.
Battery + Alternator + Labour = £634.04
Thanks for the above replies - Mark.

"should have" or "should've"

If you're going to take the pi55, at least do it correctly... 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Eek! You have my sympathies! At least you're back on the road now... 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
