Got in today and turned engine on, height button lights illuminated were the up arrow and the off road height setting aswell as the middle setting, the 4x4 info screen said access level.

As Jmac says - the compressor is only rated for intermittant use rather than constant duty and so if it's working too hard it will get hot and there's a thermal cut-off switch built in to protect the equipment. |

It is also not unknown for the compressor relay to stick, thereby running the compressor needlessly. As noted above, extended use will result in premature failure of the unit. |

The experience of this fault air suspension compressor (possibly: dryer, silencer) At a given fault changing the compressor with a silencer. Check the muffler can be by turning off the inlet tube (inlet air to compressor). Often become worthless dryer. The forum Discovery 3 describes the procedures for "witchcraft" of the compressor. |
