How different are...

I've driven my mums D3 HSE V6 a few times(she went in for a sport but not enough room for the dogs) and thought it was a brilliant all round drive, but i was wondering what diffences will i feel with my TDV6 HSE (with dynamic pack etc) when i finally get it in July? 2014 Nara Bronze SDV6

The cabin layout of the RRS is greatly superior to the D3 and depending on whether you've gone for a DR-equipped RRS or not, you'll feel a much stiffer ride. Should feel less buslike in bends (having driven a Scooby you'll appreciate that). You'll also feel proud that you went for the RRS when people actually look at your car as it passes... it's really a very good looking car and even completely car-illiterate people can be seen ogling it.

If I was you, July wouldn't be coming quickly enough! Good luck mate! Thumbs Up

United Kingdom 2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Rimini Red

The Sport creates a surprisingly different "feel" from the Disco. The ride on the Sport is sharper, and the reaction it prompts from friends/family/joe public is noticeably different. The Sport lacks the Disco's family friendly design features (bottle carriers in doors, cubby boxes in boot, sit on boot door, oh yes and 7 seats!) and world swallowing luggage capacity. In summary, the Disco becomes a member of the family, the Sport becomes a Mistress Laughing RRS TDv8 HSE Rimini

Having just replaced 19's with 20's I can confirm that it does make the ride a bit firmer and more suseptible to 'Bobbling'.

If you fit lower profile tyres, it will always affect the ride to a greater or lesser degree.

Pneumatic tyres are just that, pneumatic. Filled with air. If you have less air cushioning the road surface you will get less 'Damping' effect from the tyres. Tyres at correct pressures act as subtle shock absorbers and so 19's of 235/45 will always offer greater cushioning than 275/40's Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award Sad
