The unfortunate fact of car buying/selling is that the sellers want top dollar and the buyers want to pay bottom dollar. If you want to move your car quickly, sell somewhere between what the trade are offering and the private sale price others are looking for. This is even more true in summer.

Last years prices were, in my opinion, vastly inflated because the particularly bad winter we've just had. It's summer now and 6 months further on so I'd expect prices to reflect that but unfortunately they don't - and cars are not selling because of it.

Maybe you could share with us the 3 offer prices that you've had on ebay?

22k's a tad high (forecourt premium imho, especially on ebay... you'll not get top price on there..better to try pistonheads or autotrader) RRS gone
